Wayne Carter, audience, said he has lived on 55th Avenue
South for 9 years, and all of this time there has been a
sight distance problem. When you approach from the west, the
left turn on to 55th from So. 144th, there is a very bad
sight distance problem. He suggested adding another
"dangerous intersection ahead" sign about 50 yards east of
the intersection. The traffic going west on South 144th is
exceeding the speed limit making it difficult to make the
left turn at a safe speed.
Mayor Van Dusen turned the problem over to the Public Works
Director for study.
