No mutual/automatic aid was given or received. A short circuit had occurred in a 110V household electrical outlet. The occupant, Mr. Nelson Kingsley, indicated that there had been problems with the outlet in the past and that it had tripped the circuit when a portable heater was used. FireRMS 5.0 Version: 2.0.25 pro em. One umt was assigned to this incident Three personnel responded Wd e arrive on scene at 0616 hours and cleared at 0639 hours. The incident occurred at 4608 S 164 St, Tukwila in District 004. The local station is ST54. The general description of this property is 1 or 2 family dwelling. The primary task(s) performed at the scene by responding personnel was hazard removal. No mutual/automatic aid was given or received. A short circuit had occurred in a 110V household electrical outlet. The circuit was found to be live and we de -energized it. Damage was localized to the outlet and the wiring within 2 inches of the oputlet. The wall was penetrated above the outlet to check for extension. No extension or interior wall damage was found. Mr. Kingsley was instructed to obtain the services of an electrician prior to re -energizing the outlet or the circuit. The dispatch system malfunctioned and house tones only were activated.
