Narrative Text At 1651 hours on Friday March 17, 2000 E-53 was dispatched to assist police with a
possible meth lab. One unit was initialy assigned to this incident. L-54 was added,
bringing a total of six personnel responding. E53 arrived on scene at 1656 hours and
called for L54 at 1711 hours. The incident occurred at 4800 S 125 St, Tukwila in District
001. The local station is ST53. The general description of this property is residential
street. The primary task performed by L54 was to identify and analyze hazardous
materials that were inside an abandoned van. In full bunkers and SCBA, I looked into the
van on a recon mission There were no spilled products. The investigation found several
remnents of an abandon meth lab. Batteries, phederin pill bottles, filters and even left
over white sludge. No chemicals were present that I noticed. After confirming there were
no active spilled or open containers of chemicals, I turned the scene over to PD for
impound of the vehicle.
No mutual aid was received.
Alarm number 0000852 has been assigned to this incident.
