SeaTac Fire E-413 was emoute to a call off of Military Rd, when they smelled a strong odar of Ammonia in the area of S 146th. They could not identify where the odar was coming from. They found some barrels that were on our side of the street, so they called for us to come and help locate the problem. E-54 arrived first. Our investigation found the odar was coming from a single family residence at 14633 Military Rd. S. We determined that it could be a drug lab, so we backed out of the area and called for PD. It was also determined that this was a SeaTac Fire address, so we took on a supportive roll. Command 400 was on the scene and established "Military Command" Lt. Grisham was assigned Operations, FF Kronen was assigned Safety. The King County Drug Enforcement Unit was called for. Two officers arrived and established a secure scene. They also located an old propane tank that was leaking gassing off ammonia vapors. He shut the valve off and stopped the leak. It was reported that items were found indicating there was a lab. The scene was taken over by the DEU and fire was released. Four units were assigned to this incident. Eight personnel responded. We arrived on scene at 2333 hours and cleared at 0406 hours. The incident occurred at 14633 Military Rd S, SeaTac in District O/J. The local station is ST54. The general description of this property is 1 or 2 family dwelling. The primary task(s) performed at the scene by responding personnel were to identify and analyze hazardous materials. Other special hoz mat actions were also taken. Mutual aid was given on this incident. Alarm number 0001416 has been assigned to this incident. End of Report Sunpro, Inc.
