On arrival, Tukwila Fire Department Page: 5 Incident Report 2000-0001711-000 Printed: 05/30/2000 20:42:37 Narratives E51 found a LARGE commercial complex, nothing visible, and NOT evacuated. At this time all other incoming units were downgraded to CODE YELLOW. (E52 subsequently released to handle incident $TF00-0001712) Investigation showed workers on the roof had been purging the lines on the HVAC units, a nearby unit sucked the odorant inside the structure - creating the source of the smell. PSE was dispatched to the scene, detected odorant in the structure, but no natural gas. Roof -top workers were done with thier detail, so the HVAC units were turned on to exchange the air (and remove the smell). Advised occupant to leave doors open to assist with air exchange.
