On location I found the 10 foot baseboard heater in the living room had shorted out the heating element . No fire, smoke. The heaters are 30 years old and giving out. The heating element just gave out due to its age. We turned off the power and I removed the thermostat on the heater to expose the wiring checking for further damage. When the manager came to our location, he was informed by myself that the heater had to be replaced as a unit.
