At 0551 hours on Thursday April 5, 2001 we were dispatched to a gas leak. Three units
were assigned to this incident. Twelve personnel responded. We arrived on scene at 0556
hours and cleared at 0800 hours. The incident occurred at 12400 51 P1 S, Tukwila in
District 001. The general description of this property is railroad yard. The primary task(s)
performed at the scene by responding personnel was investigation. No mutual/automatic
aid was given or received.
Alarm number 0001089 has been assigned to this incident.
E53 ARRIVED ON THE SCENE AND FOUND NO SMELL OF GAS. E52 A54 WERE
CODE GREENED. I DID CALL DISPATCH TO HAVE A GAS COMPANY
SUPERVISOR CONTACT THE RAILROAD TO INVESTIGATE THE EMPLOYEES
COMPLAINTS ABOUT GAS SMELLS IN A NEW EXCAVATION AND FILL
PROJECT ON THE SIGHT.
