notice gasonlme leaking from the engine area of a truck onto the pavement of the parking
lot of the blood bank. Upon our arrival we found an older model Ford Pickup with Wa.
Plate A30955C. A steady drip of fuel was leaking from the fuel pump. We were able to
pinch the hose from the fuel tank to the pump and stop the leak. We put absorbant on the
ground to soak up the leaking fuel. I also placed my card on the window of the truck so
the owner could call me if he/she had any questions. I also notified an employee inside the
building that there was damage to the pavement under the truck due to the fuel. She said
she would contact the property manager to inform him.
One unit was assigned to this incident. Three personnel responded. We arrived on scene
at 1352 hours and cleared at 1417 hours. The incident occurred at 130 Andover Pk E,
Tukwila in District 004. The general description of this property is vehicle parking area.
The primary task(s) performed at the scene by responding personnel were hazardous
materials leak control and containment. No mutual/automatic aid was given or received.

At 1347 hours on Thursday August 30, 2001 we were dispatched to a gasoline spill. RP
