Narrative Text At 2212 hours on Sunday September 23, 2001 we were dispatched to a hazmat release
investigation with no hazmat. One unit was assigned to this incident. Three personnel
responded. We arrived on scene at 2217 hours and cleared at 2235 hours. The incident
occurred at 3747 S 142 St, Tukwila in District 14. The local station is ST54. The general
description of this property is hoteUmotel, commercial. The primary task(s) performed at
the scene by responding personnel was investigation. No mutual/automatic aid was given
or received.
Alarm number 0003197 has been assigned to this incident.
Dispatched to motel for investigation of a suspicious odor. On arrival, the manager stated
a tenant had sprayed mace for unknown reason. Requested TPD, investigated an affected
room which seemed to have an olfactory irritant. While doing so, the alleged perpetrator
walked up and admitted he had sprayed mace because he didn't believe it was really mace.
TPD investigated the man and released him after discussion with the motel manager.
