One umt was assigned to this incident. Three personnel responded, two HazMat Technicians and one FF. Upon arrival we found a square box wrapped in a silver foil wrapping paper. No markings on the box, no addresses. The box was 5 feet off the road on the west side of 42. A resident in the area came out when he saw us and reported that he saw the box at around 1630 hrs being blown by the wind down 42nd. It came to rest where we were seeing it. We double baged the box and moved it to a remote area. I suited up myself and FF M. Brooks in level B suits and SCBA. We approached the box from upwind and carefully opened it using air monitoring equipment also. The box was empty, and our air monitoring equipment gave zero readings. We ended the incident at that point. We arrived on scene at 2307 hours and cleared at 0016 hours. The incident occurred at 14400 42 Av S, Tukwila in District 011. The local station is ST54. The general description of this property is residential street, road or residential driveway. The primary task(s) performed at the scene by responding personnel was investigation.
