Three personnel responded. We arrived on scene at 1246 hours and cleared at 1258 hours. The incident occurred at 3721 S 152 St, Tukwila in District 11. The local station is ST54. The general description of this property is multifamily dwelling. The primary task(s) performed at the scene by responding personnel was investigation. Other special haz mat actions were also taken. No mutual/automatic aid was given or received. Alarm number 0003447 has been assigned to this incident. Subsequent to national anthrax alerts, RP received an envelope with no retum address. Apartment manager placed the envelope in a plastic bag and called TPD. TPD requested fire to respond. On arrival, noted the envelope secured in a plastic bag lying on the sidewalk. Approached the bag and noted it was a typical business size envelope with a machine printed postage stamp and a typed address label, but no return address visible. No signs of any damage or leakage or other unusual features of the envelope. After discussing the issue with TPD, it appeared to be of no threat, but advised the RP that it may be appropriate to just throw the envelope in the trash. With the RP's permission, TPD threw the bagged envelope into the dumpster. End of Report Sunpro, Inc.
