parking lot and called 911.The letter was a phone bill the driver had mailed accidently to
herself a week ago.She received it yesterday, put it in her purse and took it out while
driving today. The letter was a legitimate phone bill with no visible product.I called for
E52 with HM52.Portable 518 was also called.A team from E52 in bunker gear and SCBA
opened the vehicle and placed the letter in a hazmat over pack and gave to TPD for
holding.E52 HM52 E54 Portable 518 and TUKSO all returned in service.
The driver wanted to be tested and have the letter analyzed in the field. It was explained to
her by Portable 518 that this was not possible and that the indicators did not add up to a
credible threat. She washed her hands and face and left in the vehicle.
