responded. We code yellow and arrived on scene at 1341 hours. We cleared at 1357
hours. The incident occurred at 18251 Cascade Av S, Tukwila in District 006. The local
station is ST51. The general description of this property is vehicle parking area. The
primary task(s) performed at the scene by responding personnel was investigation. No
mutual/automatic aid was given or received.
This dumpster had been at this location for approx 1 month. During that time it was open
to rain etc. When the Rabanco driver came to loadit he tipped it up, allowing the rain
water to escape from the door in the back. This water appeared to be contaminated with
what seemed to be latex paint and other by products of demolition.
We advised the occupant; Ken King of MBA GRAPHICS to pick up the spilled solution
with Litter or other asorbant, clean out the dumpster into another(Rabanco was to deliver
another one to the site), Properly dispose of the contaminated water and see that none of
the contaminated water reaches the storm drain system, which was already boomed.
Alarm number 0003928 has been assigned to this incident.
