At 1629 hours on Friday February 8, 2002 we were dispatched to a hazmat release
investigation with no hazmat. A passerby noticed a liquid coming off of a MC 306 tanker.
The description sounded like an "American Transport" vehicle. We went there and found
a tractor/trailer rig that just pulled in from coming over the pass. He had snow melting
from the rig, that was mistaken for a leaking liquid.
Two units were assigned to this incident. Six personnel responded. We arrived on scene at
1634 hours and cleared at 1643 hours. The incident occurred at 11000 E Marginal Way S,
Tukwila in District 008. The local station is ST53. The general description of this property
is street. The primary task(s) performed at the scene by responding personnel was
investigation. No mutual/automatic aid was given or received.
