Narrative Text At 1853 hours on Thursday February 14, 2002 we were dispatched to a flammable gas or
liquid condition. One unit was assigned to this incident. We arrived on scene at 1858 hours
and cleared at 1930 hours. The incident occurred at 10805 EAST MARGINAL Way S,
Tukwila in District 008. The general description of this property is service station, gas
station. No mutual/automatic aid was given or received.
Alarm number 0000480 has been assigned to this incident.
E53 FOUND A SMALL LEAK IN A VOLKS WAGON BUS. OWNER WANTED THE
BUS TOWED. AAA WOULD NOT TOW OR THE DRIVER OF THE TOW TRUCK
REFUSED TO TOW BECAUSE OF THE LEAK. WE WERE CALLED BECAUSE
AAA WANTED THE FIRE DEPARTMENT TO SEE IF TOWING WAS SAFE.
THIS WAS A LEAK FROM A FITING TO THE GAS LINE. IT WAS A SLOW SMALL
DRIP. WE PLACED SOME ABSORBENT PADS DOWN AND FELT THAT IT WAS
SAFE TO TOW THE VIHICLE TO A REPAIR FACILITY.
PLEASE NOTE THAT WE WERE CALLED BACK TO THIS SAME CALL BECAUSE
THE TOW TRUCK DRIVER WAS BEENING UNREASONABLE WITH THE
OWNER OF THE CAR. I CALLED FOR ANOTHER TOW TRUCK
COMPANY(SKYWAY TOWING) THEY SAID THAT THEY HAD NOPROBLEM
TOWING THE CAR. AT THIS POINT THE AAA TOW TRUCK DECIDED TO TOW
THE CAR. THIS RESPONSE HAS TWO INCIDENT NUMBERS. TF 0480 AND TF
0481.
