Incident Report
2002-0001391 -000
Tukwila Fire Department (LIVE)
On location the manager reported that the North entrance sign has been arching and
smoking. We found where the ballest for the sign had went out and melted it self as well
as some of the plastic. We tried to shut the sign off using the indicated breakers. The sign
could not be shut off. I disconnected the wires at the base of the sign. The management
was told by myself NOT to use the sign until a State certified electrician repaired the sign
and located and marked the proper breakers.
I do recommend that FPO red tag the sign.
Manager is Chesterfield, Michell
Lt. David A. Hansen E-52
