Tukwila Fire Department
units were assigned to this incident. Eight personnel responded. We arrived on scene at
1200 hours and cleared at 1206 hours. The incident occurred at 660 Industry Dr, Tukwila
in District 004. The local station is ST51. The general description of this property is
warehouse. The primary task(s) performed at the scene by responding personnel was
investigation. No mutual/automatic aid was given or received.
Alarm number 0002885 has been assigned to this incident.
Upon arrival initially located nothing and then employees came outside. They explained
that they had been spooling out cable from a large spool. They rolled it across the parking
lot and it rolled into the gas meter. The impact broke the top of the meter. Employees
had already shut off the gas valve. Called for PSE gas services and they were dispatched.
Advised employess that PSE was enroute.
Peter Malone, 206-575-1546, in charge of employess who had the accident with the
meter. No problem now as gas has been shut off.
All Tukwila units in service returning.

At 1156 hours on Monday September 9, 2002 we were dispatched to a gas leak. Three
units were assigned to this incident. Eight personnel responded. We arrived on scene at
1200 hours and cleared at 1206 hours. The incident occurred at 660 Industry Dr, Tukwila
in District 004. The local station is ST51. The general description of this property is
warehouse. The primary task(s) performed at the scene by responding personnel was
