This storm drain leads into Riverton Creek, a protected stream. When Mr. Heinselman spoke with the gentleman that had done the dumping, the man stated that he "could do whatever he wanted with the storm drain". Mr. Heinselman called station 51 with the situation. E53 responded to Mr. Heinselman's residence. Mr. Heinselman showed us some water from the creek which did have some solvent type odor to it. We got information and went to the address of the person that was supposed to be responsible. The address is 13047-34 Ave S and the person reported to be responsible is Mr. Andrew Lot. E53 Lt spoke with Mr Lot and stated that a neighbor had reported him for dumping gasoline and solvent down the storm drain. Mr Lot admitted that some fluid had inadvertently been dumped into the drain by accident. Mr Lot was also informed of his need to not dump any other fluids into the drain either accidently or otherwise. Mr Lot was also informed that if this happens again, DOE would be notified and would not be amused. Mr Lot stated that he understood the gravity of the situation and would make sure that this did not happen again. E53 returned.
