Incident Report
2002-0002992-000
Tukwila Fire Department
mvestigation with no hazmat. The owner/occupant reported a "putrid" odar in her house.
The odar started about 2 to 3 hours prior to our arrival. It is unknown what was causing th
odar. We thought it smelled like sewer gas. All sinks, drains and tubs were checked and
the odar was not coming from them. It could have been a dead animal although we could
not locate any such thing. We could not locate the source of this odar! We searched
inside and out, throughout the house and found no source. We ventilated the house with
our electric fan, which cleared the odar. It did not return while we were there. We cleared
with telling her if the odar came back, that she should find another place to stay for the
night and have someone check it the next day.
One unit was assigned to this incident. Three personnel responded. We arrived on scene at
2119 hours and cleared at 2243 hours. The incident occurred at 13505 32 Ave S, Tukwila
in District 015. The local station is ST54. The general description of this property is 1 or 2
family dwelling. The primary task(s) performed at the scene by responding personnel was
investigation. No mutual/automatic aid was given or received.
Alarm number 0002992 has been assigned to this incident.
