Two units were assigned to this incident. Four personnel responded. We arrived on scene at 1240 hours and cleared at 1351 hours. The incident occurred at 15252 Tukwila Intemationa Blvd, Tukwila in District 012. The general description of this property is service station, gas station. The primary task(s) performed at the scene by responding personnel were material detection, monitoring, sampling, and analysis. No mutual/automatic aid was given or received. Alarm number 0000859 has been assigned to this incident. UA B5lfound that a customer had been filling his car with gasoline and decided to move his car before removing the nozzle. This caused a gasoline spill in and around the gas pump. E52 arrived on scene. The AM/PM employees had already covered the spilled gas with kitty litter and coned off the area. E52 found more gasoline had spilled/leaked into a reservoir at the bottom of the pump. FF Hickey used a detector to confirm that it was gasoline. We used a hand pump and air activated pump to remove the gas/water mixture into five gallon buckets ( 7 total ), we then poured the buckets into a 55 gallon containment drum for removal by the occupant. We then secured the area around the pumps with scene tape and cones until repairs could be made to the damaged pump. A/Lt.
