At 1330 hours on Tuesday March 25, 2003 we were dispatched to an oil or other
combustible liquid spill. One unit was assigned to this incident. Three personnel
responded. We arrived on scene at 1337 hours and cleared at 1346 hours. The incident
occurred at 13225 Tukwila International Blvd, Tukwila in District 15. The local station is
ST53. The general description of this property is multifamily dwelling. The primary task(s)
performed at the scene by responding personnel was investigation. No mutual/automatic
aid was given or received.

Narratives
E53 dispatched to address given for a reported oil spill. On arrival found a spill 1' x 10' on
sidewalk between apartments #109 and #110. RP, occupant of #110, did not know who
spilled the oil or when, but spill had been present at least all morning (she noticed it when
taking her kids to school, but did not investigate until prior to 9-1-1 call).
E53 spread approximately 1/4 bag of Rice Hull Ash on the spill, broomed it to absorb all
oil. Suggested to the manager that a reminder be made to all tenants to properly dispose of
all used motor oil.
E53 then left the scene.
