had already begun diking and placing absorbant material to help control spill. Tukwila
Fire personnel used garden hoses and hand operated pumps to transfer the remaining
product into two 55 gallon barrels. No product reached drains or other waterways. DOE
arrived and assessed the situation. DOE with no further action. Garden hoses, buckets and
other cleanup material was taken away by company involved. Hand operated pumps from
HazMat 52 were very inefficient and time consuming.
