One unit was assigned to this incident. Three personnel responded. We arrived on scene at 1343 hours and cleared at 1458 hours. The incident occurred at 17800 I-5 Fwy N, SeaTac in District O/J. The local station is 52. The primary task(s) performed at the scene by responding personnel were hazardous materials leak control and containment. Mutual aid was given on this incident. Alarm number 0003163 has been assigned to this incident. While fmishing up at incident #03-3162 heard B-45 requesting assistance with a pump able to transfer diesel fuel. Advised Fire Three that we had such a pump and could assist. B-45 advised that we bring our pump to their location- code red. Went to Station 52 and collected the air pump from HazMat 52 and responded to the scene. Upon arrival found that DOT wanted the fuel from a damaged saddle tank on a semi -tractor transferred to their truck. The DOT truck had a bad pump but and empty tank. No way to get the fuel into their tank. Transferred to another semi- tractor with room in its tanks. After moving 100 plus gallons of fuel decided that it was empty enough to Petes Tow to get the truck out of the guardrail. E-52 collected its equipment and returned in service.
