Narrative Text At 1708 hours on Thursday October 16, 2003 we were dispatched to a hazardous
condition. Two units were assigned to this incident. Seven personnel responded. We
arrived on scene at 1712 hours and cleared at 1748 hours. The incident occurred at 4234 S
146 St, Tukwila in District 011. The local station is 54. The general description of this
property is residential street, road or residential driveway. The primary task(s) performed
at the scene by responding personnel was hazard removal. No mutual/automatic aid was
given or received.
Alarm number 0003407 has been assigned to this incident.
Dispatched to wires down. On location found cable and phone wires hanging in bushes and
over roadway. Power was out in a nearby area. Contacted fire 3 to have cable come out to
evaluate wires and confirm they were not hot. While waiting, E52 cleared a call they were
on in the area and came by. Lt Hansen with his expertise on power and phone poles, wires,
determined there was little risk in the wires being hot and disconnected them and they were
placed off to the side. E52 was in service while they assisted and were not dispatched or
officially added to the call due to the brevity of their involvement. Comcast was notified of
the situation and F-3 was asked to inform phone of wires down in the area. rtq
