One unit was assigned to this incident. Three personnel responded. We arrived on scene at 1016 hours and cleared at 1158 hours. The incident occurred at 12642 Interurban Ave S, Tukwila in District 001. The local station is 52. This is a mixed use property described as office use. The primary task(s) performed at the scene by responding personnel were material detection, monitoring, sampling, and analysis. No mutual/automatic aid was given or received. Alarm number 0003576 has been assigned to this incident. E52 and B51 responded to the scene of two propane cylinders that were brought in by a customer that had a suspicious odor coming from them. E52 arrived and re -conned the tanks by taking pictures, we found no leaking, no odor, the valves intact but a green discoloration next to one valve. B-51 arrived and called for Haz-Mat 52 and E-53 so that we could perform the approiate tests on the tanks which were all negative. DOE was called for recovery and all returned in service. Information on incidents involving hazardous substances is provided to the Department of Health by local, state, and federal agencies mandated to manage emergency releases. I am currently investigating an incident that your department may have responded to that occurred on: October 29, 2003. The location of the incident was: 12642 Interurban Avenue South, Tukwila. Ths incident involved: Substance (ammonia?) from propane tank exposes employee acid possibly a responder.
