At 1504 hours on Friday April 9, 2004 we were dispatched to a gas leak. One unit was
assigned to this incident. Three personnel responded. We arrived on scene at 1514 hours
and cleared at 1524 hours. The incident occurred at 3923 S 113 St, Tukwila in District
0007. The local station is 53. The general description of this property is 1 or 2 family
dwelling. The primary task(s) performed at the scene by responding personnel was
investigation. Automatic aid was received on this incident.
A contractor was demolishing a house which had already been burned. While doing so, he
struck a 3/4" low pressure natural gas line. PSE was there in 12 minutes and stopped the
leak and arranged for a permanent fix. E53 returned.
Alarm number 0001160 has been assigned to this incident.
