Narrative Text At 2011 hours on Friday May 28, 2004. Three units were assigned to this incident. Seven
personnel responded. We arrived on scene at 2017 hours and cleared at 2043 hours. The
incident occurred at 500 Southcenter Mall, Tukwila in District 004. The local station is 51.
The general description of this property is textile, wearing apparel sales. The primary
task(s) performed at the scene by responding personnel was investigation. No
mutual/automatic aid was given or received.
Alarm number 0001707 has been assigned to this incident.
E52 arrived to find store manager reporting that some shoppers reported burning sensation
in their throats. One customer was observed outside coughing; she stated she had
sensitivity to chemicals & asthma, but that she did not need medical attention. Manager
reported that his store had possibly been "stinkbombed" earlier that day. E52 did not fmd
any significant findings, either with Mini -max or with E51's detector from the HazMat
trailer. The HazMat detector can detect OC/Teargas substances. Nothing found.
