Tukwila Fire Department
combustible liquid spill. One unit was assigned to this incident. Three personnel
responded. We arrived on scene at 1242 hours and cleared at 1242 hours. The incident
occurred at 7000 S 180 St, Tukwila in District 005. The local station is 51. The general
description of this property is tunnel. The primary task(s) performed at the scene by
responding personnel was the determination if materials were non -hazardous. No
mutual/automatic aid was given or received.
Alarm number 0002080 has been assigned to this incident.
E51 was dispatched to a reported oil spill at S 180th St. and West Valley. When E51
arrived we found water coming through the asphalt in the lower level of the S 180 th
railroad underpass. This seems to be a long term problem. We observed what looked like
anti freeze. When we looked closer we realized that this was algae and water.
This was mistaken for oil. We did find this to be a very slippery surface.
