At 1539 hours on Wednesday July 7, 2004 we were dispatched to a chemical hazard (no
spill or leak). We arrived on scene at 1546 hours and cleared at 1746 hours. The local
station is 51. Other special haz mat actions were also taken. No mutual/automatic aid was
given or received.
Alarm number 0002210 has been assigned to this incident.
E51 arrived to find a 20 to 30 gallon blue plastic container in the rear of the business.
There was no leak or contamination. Haz tecks sampled the material for lels and ph. These
appeared to be normal. Tecks sealed the container and DOE came to take the material
away.
