At 0118 hours on Thursday July 22, 2004 we were dispatched to an oil or other
combustible liquid spill. One unit was assigned to this incident. Three personnel
responded. We arrived on scene at 0125 hours and cleared at 0136 hours. The incident
occurred at 13123 48 Ave S, Tukwila in District 001. The local station is 53. The general
description of this property is service station, gas station. The primary task(s) performed at
the scene by responding personnel was investigation. No mutual/automatic aid was given
or received.

Narratives
E53 Arrived to find a 8' diameter puddle of Diesel fuel on the ground spilling into a storm
drain.
E53 found a Diesel spill due to a malfimctioning dispenser handle.
E53 Applied rice hull ash, and absorbent pads to contain the spill pads to remove the fuel
form the storm drain sump. The faulty dispenser handle was tagged and the owner of the
busk, s was notified to have it repaired. E53 returned in service.
