Tukwila Fire Department
was assigned to this incident. Three personnel responded. We arrived on scene at 1611
hours and cleared at 1628 hours. The incident occurred at 11830 42 Ave S, Tukwila in .
District 007. The local station is 53. The general description of this property is 1 or 2
family dwelling. The primary task(s) performed at the scene by responding personnel was
investigation. No mutual/automatic aid was given or received.
Alarm number 0002584 has been assigned to this incident.
E53 found a gas leak with Puget Sound Energy only on location.
E53 mad contact with the supervisor on location. E53 was informed the Seattle City Light
had ruptured a 2 in line while drilling with an auger machine for a new power pole. Per
Ken Brown the on site supervisor, Seattle City Light contacted them and then left he scene.
E53 found an active gas leak.
E53 stood by while the gas leak was secured. E53 requested PD to assist PSE in entering a
fenced yard with a dog at this address to check for underground readings as this occupancy
has a basement. All readings were normal per PSE. E53 returned in service. Battalion 51
