At 1123 hours on Monday August 16, 2004 we were dispatched to a hazardous condition.
Two units were assigned to this incident. Five personnel responded. We arrived on scene
at 1123 hours and cleared at 1131 hours. The incident occurred at 13504 Tukwila
Internationa Blvd, Tukwila in District 010. The general description of this property is
residential street, road or residential driveway. The primary task(s) performed at the scene
by responding personnel was investigation. No mutual/automatic aid was given or
received.
Alarm number 0002738 has been assigned to this incident.
L54 was on location doing a inspection and found two abandoned 55 gallon drums with a
unknown product in them. We contacted the owner of the Pacific Village Apartments for
the inspection and he advised us of the drums. He stated the appeared seven days ago. I
notified B51 of the situation and he proceeded to our location. Upon his arrival, we created
this incident. The drums were intact with no signs ofieaking. B51 contacted the DOE for
pick up and disposal.
Tracy Walters of the DOE (425-649-7229) contacted B51 and advised the drums would be
picked up by 8-18-2004. L54 returned to the inspection. B51 returned.
