At 1008 hours on Saturday September 11, 2004 we were dispatched to a chemical hazard

Narratives
(no spill or leak). Two units were assigned to this incident. Four personnel responded. We
arrived on scene at 1020 hours and cleared at 1122 hours. The incident occurred at 16200
42 Ave S, Tukwila in District 004. The local station is 51. The general description of this
property is open land or field. The primary task(s) performed at the scene by responding
personnel was investigation. No mutual/automatic aid was given or received.
E51 was called to possible haz-mat investigation in the bushes at the park. E51 found what
appeared to be some plastic containers used in a small drug lab operation, that had been
thrown into the bushes. E51 tested the chemical and found the ph of the material to be 14
on the ph scale. E51 over -packed the container into a 5 gallon over -pack container. B51
will call DOE to set up with them for disposal.
Alarm number 0003060 has been assigned to this incident.
