One unit was assigned to this incident. Three personnel responded. We arrived on scene at 0922 hours and cleared at 1000 hours. The incident occurred at 14400 I5 SB Fwy SB, TUKWILA in District 002. The local station is 53. The general description of this property is highway or divided highway. The primary task(s) performed at the scene by responding personnel were hazardous materials leak control and containment. No mutual/automatic aid was given or received. E53 responded to a Tukwila PD unit on location, gasoline leak. Upon arrival, we found a vehicle which was actively leaking gasoline. There was currently 4-5 gallons spread across 1 lane of the highway. E53 personnel put down rice hull ash and attempted to stop the leak with "pig -putty". We were only partially successful. We then deployed our "hoz mat" containment pool and were able to contain the rest of the spill -5-10 gallons. DOT took over the disposal of the gasoline and WSP made sure that the people were being taken care of.
