Narrative Text At 1419 hours on Friday March 11, 2005 we were dispatched to a chemical hazard (no
spill or leak). Three units were assigned to this incident. Seven personnel responded. We
arrived on scene at 1427 hours and cleared at 1521 hours. The incident occurred at 15900

Narrative Text At 1419 hours on Friday March 11, 2005 we were dispatched to a chemical hazard (no

this property is vacant lot. The primary task(s) performed at the scene by responding
personnel was removal of hazardous materials. No mutual/automatic aid was given or
received.
ENGINE 51 AND BATT. 51 DISPATED TO THE ABOVE ADDRESS FOR A
HAZORDOUS MATERIALS INVESTIGATION. A CITY EMPLOYEE REPORTED
FINDING THE POSSIBLE WASTE PRODUCTS OF A DRUG LAB. PD
INVESTIGATED AND CALLED FOR US.
UPON OUR ARRIVAL I TIED IN WITH PD. THERE WAS NO THREAT OR
RELEASE OF ANY KIND. MYSELF AND 1 FF WENT IN FOR RECON LEAVING
THE DRIVER OUT FOR STANDBY/BACKUP. WE FOUND SEVERAL EMPTY
CONTAINERS OF RED DEVIL DRAIN CLEANER, TOLULENE, ACETONE,
FERTALIZER AND SOME OTHER UNKNOWNS. THERE WAS NO SPILLS OR
LEAKS.
I TIED IN WITH BATT.51. DOE WAS CALLED AND ENGINE 52 BROUGHT SOME
OVERPACK CONTAINERS. ENGINE 52 OFFICER MYSELF AND 1 FF
OVERPACKED THE PRODUCTS IN SEPERATE CONTAINERS AND LABELED
THEM. THE OVERPACK CONTAINERS WERE LEFT AT THE SCENE FOR DOE
TO DISPOSE THEM.
