Narrative Text At 1037 hours on Sunday May 1, 2005 we were dispatched to a gasoline or other
flammable liquid spill. Two units were assigned to this incident. Four personnel
responded. We arrived on scene at 1045 hours and cleared at 1132 hours. The incident
occurred at 12610 INTERURBAN Ave S, Tukwila in District 001. The local station is 53.
The general description of this property is professional supplies, services. The primary
task(s) performed at the scene by responding personnel was investigation. No
mutual/automatic aid was given or received.
Alarm number 0501395 has been assigned to this incident.
E53 sent to a reported gas spill of approximately 1 gallon
E53 arrived to find a panel van next to a building with a gas trail under the van ending a
puddle in front of the van. Approximately 2 gallons of gas was spilled on the ground.
Approximately 30 gallons were stolen from this tank. Vehicle was said to have been full
(55 gallon tank) as it was filled on 4-29-5 and not driven since. Visual inspection of the
gas gauge indicate 1/2 tank.
Theft of gasoline from vehicle resulting in a gas spill.
E53 investigated, abated the puddle of gas with some absorbent, called for pd, took
pictures of scene. This is the second time in two weeks according to RP that they have
been hit by gas thieves.
