Two units were assigned to this incident. Five personnel responded. We arrived on scene at 0102 hours and cleared at 0144 hours. The incident occurred at 13305 35 Ave S, Tukwila in District 015. The local station is 54. The general description of this property is 1 or 2 family dwelling. Other special haz mat actions were also taken. No mutual/automatic aid was given or received. Alarm number 0502173 has been assigned to this incident. L54 responded to a smell of gasoline by a resident within their home. The smell was said to have started three hours prior to L54 arrival. The resident was said to have opened all windows and turned on all fans to dissipate smell with no success for the last two hours. Upon L54 arrival a slight order of a chemical. L54 investigate all possible sources within and around the outside of the home. B51 was added to the response for the use his air monitor, L54 air monitor is currently out of service. L54 monitored within and outside the home with no abnormal reading recorded, all air monitor reading were within normal ranges. L54 communicated possible reasons for the smell of a chemical with in home. L54 told resident if smell became worse to call 911 and L54 would return and attempt again to find source of smell. L54 and B51 returned in service.
