Roberts, Martin Author Rank LT Author Assignment 1 Narrative Text At 0752 hours on Friday July 29, 2005 we were dispatched to a gas leak. Five units were assigned to this incident. Eight personnel responded. We arrived on scene at 0801 hours and cleared at 0901 hours. The incident occurred at 13825 38 Ave S, Tukwila in District 014. The local station is 54. The general description of this property is residential street, road or residential driveway. The primary task(s) performed at the scene by responding personnel was investigation. Automatic aid was received on this incident. Alarm number 0502603 has been assigned to this incident. Upon arrival L54 found a construction crew had ruptured a 2" natural gas line with a backhoe. The crew had evacuated the immediate area and had called PSE prior to our arrival. L54 secured the immediate area and parked our apparatus on 37th Av S. B51 arrived and established "38th Command". I gave him an update on the scene. B51 directed E53 to report to the area of S 138th and 38th Av S and to stand by the hydrant. L54 relocated next to a hydrant on 37th Av S. L54 Team B walked to E53 to serve as a backup team. PSE arrived on location and began looking for shut off valves. The valves could not be located and PSE proceeded to cap the line. The line was secured and all TFD units returned.
