Two units were assigned to this incident. Four personnel responded. We arrived on scene at 0700 hours and cleared at 0735 hours. The incident occurred at 223 ANDOVER Park E, Tukwila in District 004. The local station is 51. The general description of this property is department or discount store. The primary task(s) performed at the scene by responding personnel was investigation. No mutual/automatic aid was given or received. Alarm number 0502905 has been assigned to this incident. E51 received a telephone call from Circuit City advising us that they had a leaking gas drum next to their building. E51 told the rp to call 911 and generate a call, E51 informed B51 of the call. E51 responded to the call. E51 arrived behind B51 to find a 55 gallon drum and nota 25 gallon drum as reported laying on ifs side leaking a liquid onto the asphalt. B51 had up -righted the drum prior to our arrival and informed us that it was gasoline. E51 confirmed by the odor present that the substance was gasoline. E51 crew applied some amerizorb to the spill to contain it. Approximately 2 gallons was present on ground when we arrived. Unknown how long the container was leaking. The drum was located in the middle of Side B of the building. The drum and cylinder were found on private property and did not belong to the occupant. E51 investigated a leaking drum. E51 responded, abated the spill, mitigated the spill by containing it e51 removed the drum and cylinder to the back of the occupancy and advised the occupant to contact a hazmat lean up company to have the items removed.
