Three units were assigned to this incident. Eight personnel responded. We arrived on scene at 0851 hours and cleared at 0926 hours. The incident occurred at 15300 Interurban Ave S, Tukwila in District 003. The local station is 52. The general description of this property is street or road in commercial area. The primary task(s) performed at the scene by responding personnel was hazard removal. No mutual/automatic aid was given or received. Alarm number 0503459 has been assigned to this incident. Dispatched to an oil spill. Upon arrival E52 found approximately ten cases of oil in quart containers had fallen out of a pick-up truck when the load shifted. E52 removed the oil containers and their packaging from roadway and assisted the driver in reloading them onto his pick-up. E52, with the assistance of E51, spread eight bags of Ameri-zorb on the effected lanes of traffic to mitigate the spill. Battalion 51 requested sander and sweeper from city shops. E52 returned in service.
