At 1605 hours on Friday January 20, 2006 we were dispatched to a hazmat release
investigation with no hazmat. Six units were assigned to this incident. Thirteen personnel
responded. We arrived on scene at 1609 hours and cleared at 1620 hours. The incident
occurred at 3742 S 144 St, Tukwila in District 014. The local station is 54. The general
description of this property is restaurant or cafeteria. The primary task(s) performed at the
scene by responding personnel was investigation. Other special haz mat actions were also
taken. Automatic aid was received on this incident.
Alarm number 0600227 has been assigned to this incident.
L54, A54, B51, E52, E53 and E47 were dispatched to report of natural gas inside Jack in
the Box. Upon arrival L54 directed A54 to stand by the gas meter and L54 went inside the
business to investigate. The Micro Max showed no gas inside the structure.
L54 code greened all incoming units.
The duty Manager stated that a customer complained of a natural gas odor, he and other
employees did not notice any odor. The person that complained then called 911 and left
the building. The manager did not know that the 911 call had been made.
L54 and A54 returned.
