Narrative Text At 0848 hours on Saturday February 4, 2006 we were dispatched to a gas leak. Four units
were assigned to this incident. Five personnel responded. We arrived on scene at 0900
hours and cleared at 0916 hours. The incident occurred at 12233 51 PIS, Tukwila in
District 007. The local station is 53. The general description of this property is 1 or 2
family dwelling. The primary task(s) performed at the scene by responding personnel was
investigation. Other special haz mat actions were also taken. Automatic aid was received
on this incident.
Alarm number 0600411 has been assigned to this incident.
Upon arrival L54 found a 30' tree had fell, due to high winds, coming to rest on the house.
Further investigation found a 6' branch had struck the natural gas meter on side B of the
house causing a small leak at the meter. L54 and L54-4 shut off the gas at the meter
stopping the leak.
L54-3 checked the interior of the house, using the Micro Max and found it to be clear.
L54 advised the homeowner of the situation and informed him of the need to have PSE
repair the meter. L54 also asked Fire Three to contact PSE.
E24 and A 1 1 also responded and stood by during the incident.
L54 returned.
