Narrative Text At 1333 hours on Saturday April 1, 2006 we were dispatched to a gasoline or other
flammable liquid spill. One unit was assigned to this incident. Three personnel responded.
We arrived on scene at 1339 hours and cleared at 1355 hours. The incident occurred at
17601 Southcenter Pky, TUKWILA in District 1115. The local station is 51. The general
description of this property is vehicle parking area. The primary task(s) performed at the
scene by responding personnel was investigation. No mutual/automatic aid was given or
received.
Alarm number 0601062 has been assigned to this incident.
Upon arrival found two occupants of vehicle. They state that they have just had repairs
performed by a dealer in replacing the water pump. Owner states that the engine had to be
removed to complete the repairs. Today when they parked at Levitz Furniture they could

smell gasoline when they exited the vehicle. They thought that the fuel leak was from the
fuel tank. Owner called her driver club for a tow and they refused to come out until the
Fire Department had drained the fuel tank and thus we are here. No leak from the fuel
tank. No leak when the key is turned on but when the engine is started there is fuel leaking
onto the ground from the right rear of the engine. Can not see the leak.
Owner calls for a tow again and they now agree to come tow it since the leak is not
involving the fuel tank.
E-51 in service- returning.
