Narrative Text At 1746 hours on Friday April 28, 2006 we were dispatched to a gas leak. Four units were
assigned to this incident. Eight personnel responded. We arrived on scene at 1752 hours
and cleared at 1856 hours. The incident occurred at 13025 41 Ave S, TUKWILA in
District 0813. The local station is 53. The general description of this property is 1 or 2
family dwelling. The primary task(s) performed at the scene by responding personnel was
to provide manpower. Other special haz mat actions were also taken. Automatic aid was
received on this incident.

Narratives
The homeowner was digging a French drain in his yard with a small backhoe. He struck a
1/2" natural gas line in bis yard. E53 responded and assured that the situation was stable.
Also, E53 assured that no people were inside the occupancy near the break. PSE was
notified. They came and stopped the leak. E53 personnel then used the Micromax to
verify that no natural gas was inside the structure. There was none. E53 returned.
Alarm number 0601398 has been assigned to this incident.
