Narrative Text At 1951 hours on Wednesday May 3, 2006 we were dispatched to a chemical hazard (no
spill or leak). One unit was assigned to this incident. Three personnel responded. We
arrived on scene at 1952 hours and cleared at 2040 hours. The incident occurred at 5000 S
130 St, TUKWILA in District 0815. The local station is 53. The general description of this
property is street. The primary task(s) performed at the scene by responding personnel was
investigation. No mutual/automatic aid was given or received.
Alarm number 0601460 has been assigned to this incident.
Citizen stopped by station 52 to report unknown material that had been left along the road
on S 130 Plunder I-5 Fwy. Citizen states that he had stopped by the City Maintenance
shops at the Golf course and reported the materials but evidentally no action was taken.
So he was reporting it to us. Went over to the area and found four plastic bucket
containers. Two of them were tied in 33 gallon black plastic garbage bags. One had a lid

that is not sealing well. Opened the lid and found what appears to be used motor oil.
Believe that all the containers hold used motor oil. Contacted DOE and the on call field
officers states that they do not usually take used motor oil but that we could take the
buckets to station 51 and they would stop by in a few days to check the products and
confirm if it is used motor oil. If the buckets do contain used motor oil than it can be taken
to a motor oil recycle center.
DOE will contact Battalion 51 to make an appointment to stop by and check the buckets.
The buckets are now at Station 51 in the fenced area behind the dumpster.
E-52 in service- out of quarters.
