At 0424 hours on Wednesday May 31, 2006 we were dispatched to a gas leak. Six units
were assigned to this incident. Twelve personnel responded. We arrived on scene at 0433
hours and cleared at 0517 hours. The incident occurred at 18323 Andover Park W,
Tukwila in District 006. The local station is 51. The general description of this property is
warehouse. The primary task(s) performed at the scene by responding personnel was
hazard removal. Other special haz mat actions were also taken. No mutual/automatic aid
was given or received.
Alarm number 0601819 has been assigned to this incident.
Dispatched to NG leak inside building. Found tilt up warehouse evacuated and ventilated
by employees. Units on scene shut gas meter, monitored vapors and performed additional
ventilation. No significant vapors detected from cieling hung space heater struck by
forklift. WNG locked meter and instructed employees on proceedure to restore service
following repair to heater.
