Narrative Text At 1508 hours on Wednesday May 31, 2006 we were dispatched to a hazmat release
investigation with no hazmat. One unit was assigned to this incident. Three personnel
responded. We arrived on scene at 1514 hours and cleared at 1519 hours. The incident
occurred at 12449 E MARGINAL Way S, Tukwila in District 007. The local station is 53.
The general description of this property is vehicle parking area. The primary task(s)
performed at the scene by responding personnel was investigation. Other special haz mat
actions were also taken. No mutual/automatic aid was given or received.
Alarm number 0601829 has been assigned to this incident.
E53 dispatched to investigate outdoor spraypainting of commercial bus in the back parking
lot of above address. E53 arrived to find 3 individuals with spray painting equipment and
a full size bus taped off.
The individuals said they were affiliated with the business above and up to that point had
not sprayed, but only sanded. They were advised that this was an illegal operation and that
a spray booth was required for painting the vehicle. The individuals were also advised
they would face a fine if the EPA was involved.
