The local station is 51. The general description of this property is highway or divided highway. The primary task(s) performed at the scene by responding personnel was investigation. Page: 2 Printed: 11/09/2006 21:22:08 •,, Incident Report 2006-0603900 -000 Tukwila Fire Department Narratives S) E51 dispatched to 5300 I-405 Fwy S for a reported vehicle leaking gasoline. 0) E51 arrived to find a Dodge Caravan leaking gasoline on to the roadway. The driver said to have driven over a piece of metal debris and the vehicle has a full fuel tank. A) E51 investigated and found a quarter size hole in the fuel tank with gasoline streaming out and a three foot by six foot area of full on the roadway. E51 Pulled a precautionary hose line and placed a containment container under the leak to contain fuel. Then E51 used pig pudy to stop the leak and used three bags of Amerizorb to take up the remaining fuel on the highway. E51 released scene to Washington State Patrol. E51 returned in-service. E51 completed the Amerizorb recovery procedures.
