Narrative Text At 2127 hours on Thursday November 30, 2006 we were dispatched to a gasoline or other
flammable liquid spill. One unit was assigned to this incident. Three personnel responded.
We arrived on scene at 2132 hours and cleared at 2143 hours. The incident occurred at
10805 E MARGINAL Way S, TUKWILA in District 008. The local station is 53. The
general description of this property is street. The primary task(s) performed at the scene by
responding personnel were hazardous materials leak control and containment. No
mutual/automatic aid was given or received.
E53 responded to a reported gasoline spill at the above address. Upon arrival, E53 found
a vehicle that had been involved in a minor MVA that was leaking gasoline. The leak was
such that it could not be stopped. E53 used a containment pool to contain the gasoline and
some Amerizorb to absorb the gasoline already spilled (no more than one-two gallons).
The amount of gasoline left in the tank was approximately 5 gallons. The tank and
gasoline was left with the driver who was about to have his vehicle towed away. E53
returned.
