Page: 2 Printed: 12/27/2006 00:00:13 Incident Report 2006-0604854 -000 Tukwila Fire Department Narratives E51 arrived to find a green Ford Expedition Washingtion State disabled license plate 45022DP entangled and upon vertical rebar with the driver inside. E51 investigated to find the vehicle was leaking engine oil. E51 confined the spill to the immediate area around the vehicle and used oil absorbent pads to soak up the oil. Amount of oil estimated to be 5 to 6 quarts. E51 was aided by a clogged drain that did not permit any oil to access the drainage system. E51 interviewed the driver. She was not injured and did not need any medical aid. E51 requested Tukwila PD to assist in receiving a tow company for the driver. E51 requested Mall security to this location to document the damage to the rebar that will be used for a column in the new vehicle parking garage. E51 requested that Mall Security use traffic cones and scene tape to restrict vehicles from this area once the vehicle has been removed. This area must be maintained until the vehicle parking garage contractor has been able to evaluate the damage to the rebar. Mall Security agreed to this request. E51 released scene to Mall Security. B51 will notify parking garage construction contractor in morning concerning incident. E51 returned in-service.
